We would like to introduce you to the latest heroes, Aslie Pitter MBE and Stephen Crosse from Stonewall FC.
Aslie said that “Being gay meant I could not be myself in or outside of Football, especially in the locker room. For me it’s been a three way battle. My race, my height and my sexuality.”
Whilst Stephen added “For me football is a language. It’s a common ground that lets us express ourselves and makes us equals.”
